Members of the College of Chiropodists of Ontario are the only regulated health professionals that specialize in treating conditions of the foot. They have a minimum of 7 to 8 years of post-secondary education before obtaining their professional designation.

The scope of practice for chiropodists allows them to treat skin conditions, nail conditions, subcutaneous lesions, bone deformities, and biomechanical problems. Members of the College of Chiropodists are the only regulated health professionals whose scope and standards of practice includes the provision of custom foot orthotics.

You’ll meet your chiropodist, who will listen to your history, work with you to perform a thorough assessment, and begin treatment to get to the bottom of your concerns.
